1. What is beef tallow and why would I put it on my face/body?
Beef tallow is a traditional skincare ingredient made from rendered beef kidney fat (suet). What makes it special is that its structure is remarkably similar to the natural lipids in your skin.
Your skin barrier is made of fats and oils. Tallow mirrors those lipids, which means your skin recognises it, absorbs it easily, and uses it effectively. This is not a trend. It is traditional nourishment, refined for modern skincare.
2. Does it smell like beef?
No. Properly purified, triple rendered tallow has a very mild, natural scent, almost like butter. We do not use synthetic fragrance to mask anything. Some products contain subtle natural essential oils, while others are intentionally unscented for sensitive skin. What you will notice most is the feeling of real nourishment, not the scent.

5. Is this suitable for sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis?
